Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to Szczecinek, I had the pleasure of dining at Pensjonat-Restauracja Żółty Domek, and I can't help but share my mixed, yet ultimately positive, experience. Nestled conveniently near the picturesque lakeside and vibrant city center, it's a charming spot that beckons to anyone seeking tranquil beauty without sacrificing convenience. While the interiors felt a bit dark and formal for my taste-perhaps a nod to its classic architecture-our dinner was made delightful by the lovely outdoor garden seating, where we could actually enjoy the evening atmosphere. Although the prices felt a tad on the steep side for such simple offerings, I must admit both the soups and Polish rosti were quite refreshing and tasty, revealing a hidden culinary talent. The highlight, however, was the attentiveness of the staff; they added a personal touch that made us feel appreciated. Even if we only dropped by for a meal, I certainly left feeling optimistic about future stays at their spacious, well-equipped rooms that, on another occasion, would be perfect for my family and our two dogs! it's a solid choice for anyone looking to explore Szczecinek with a hint of elegance.
